The Glock 44 semi-automatic pistol is one of the most popular .22 LR handguns of the moment. It exists in two versions, the standard Glock 44, and the Glock 44 with threaded barrel. On the latter, a strange M9x0.75 thread occupies the end of the barrel. This is where our thread protector for Glock 44 comes in.

Because in order to be able to screw a classic .22 LR silencer in 1/2×28 TPI, Glock does provide a standard adapter. Note that for Europeans more fond of the 1/2×20 TPI, we also produce a silencer adapter for Glock 44, available in 1/2 UNF. That said, when no adapter of any kind is screwed to the end of the gun, it must therefore be protected. It’s imperative.

A unique custom part for your .22 LR pistol

To protect the M9x0.75 thread of the threaded Glock 44, we designed a unique screw cap. Carefully elaborated on the geometry of the Glock thread, it covers it in its entirety. This thread protector also covers 4 mm of smooth barrel before the first thread. This gives the appearance of a 9×19 barrel.

A compact solution that looks pretty sexy, leaving only a small gap between the slide and the thread protector.

Since the M9x0.75 thread that is protected here is the one of the original Glock barrel, you will not get a second chance. So turn away from the plastic or aluminum thread protectors that are sometimes found, and choose this all-steel model first. A small expense that can save you a big one.
